Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Return / Refund Policy governs all purchases of in-app currency, digital items, and subscription services made through the BeatScope mobile application ("BeatScope", "App").

By accessing the App and making any purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in this Policy.

2. In-App Currency: BeatNotes

BeatNotes are virtual, non-transferable, and non-refundable.

BeatNotes have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any form of financial compensation.

The purchase or use of BeatNotes does not confer ownership rights.

Users receive only a limited, revocable license to use BeatNotes within the App.

BeatNotes may be modified, adjusted, or revoked without notice, and such actions do not entitle users to refunds.

BeatNotes can be used to purchase:

  • Digital items (backgrounds, borders, visual effects)
  • Event Tokens (for creating events)

3. Event Tokens

Event Tokens are virtual items required for creating events within the App.

Event Tokens are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for real currency.

Event Tokens can be acquired in the following ways:

  • Purchased using BeatNotes (currently 50 BeatNotes per Event Token)
  • Provided as part of BeatScope Pro subscription benefits (monthly allocation)

Event Tokens are consumed when you create an event and cannot be recovered after use.

Unused Event Tokens do not expire but remain non-refundable.

Event Tokens may be modified, adjusted, or revoked without notice, and such actions do not entitle users to refunds.

Users receive only a limited, revocable license to use Event Tokens within the App.

4. Digital Items (Avatar Borders, Backgrounds, Visual Effects)

All digital items are provided "as is" and may be changed, updated, or removed at any time without prior notice.

Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these items exclusively within the App.

Modifications or removals of digital items do not require user consent, including items that have already been acquired or are currently in use.

No refunds will be issued for digital items under any circumstances.

BeatScope is not responsible for any unavailability, alteration, or removal of digital items.

5. Subscriptions

BeatScope offers monthly and annual subscription plans (BeatScope Pro) that unlock premium features.

All subscription payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store (or other applicable platform).

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future charges but does not entitle users to refunds for previous billing periods.

Subscriptions do not grant ownership of digital items, BeatNotes, Event Tokens, or stored content.

Subscriptions may include monthly allocations of Event Tokens as part of the subscription benefits. These allocations are provided at BeatScope's discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

BeatScope is not responsible for payment processing errors, delays, or disputes related to the App Store or any third-party platform.

6. Refunds

BeatScope does not provide direct refunds for BeatNotes, Event Tokens, digital items, or subscription fees.

Refund requests must be submitted directly through the Apple App Store or the platform through which the purchase was made, in accordance with their respective refund policies.

Technical errors, connection failures, SDK malfunctions, or device issues do not constitute grounds for refunds from BeatScope.

BeatScope has no authority to override or influence App Store refund decisions.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection laws, you must contact Apple App Store support directly. BeatScope will cooperate with any valid refund requests processed through Apple's systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

BeatScope is not liable for any losses, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from the purchase or use of digital items, subscriptions, BeatNotes, or Event Tokens.

All digital content and in-app currency are provided without any warranty of permanence, stability, availability, or compatibility.

BeatScope shall not be responsible for interruptions, changes, or discontinuation of items or services.

BeatScope is not responsible for loss of Event Tokens, BeatNotes, or digital items due to:

  • Account termination or suspension
  • App updates or modifications
  • Technical failures or errors
  • Changes to App features or limitations
  • User error or misuse
